    My family has owned a farm on hwy 7 in Vaughan since 1919.
    We have been involved in the rezoning process since 2003.
    The future use study of 2005 identified our lands as the “Concord GO centre”
    Accordingly we have spent hunDreds of thousands of dollars working on a requestEd tertiary plan. Because we are not developers we have been rebuffed with a lack of respect and disdain from council.
    As well as the planning department.

    We have proposed
    High density and transit oriented development and thE city has played games with us
    Probably at the request of interested developers trying to squeeze us off the land.

    It has been disgraceful.

    I know that many a farmer has been screwed out of their lands at a fraction of there real value
